There exists one common issue of HRM; this is employee retention and turnover. For this reason, this issue is quite important in organizations given the fact that it influences performance, has associated costs, and destabilizes the workforce. High turnover is accompanied by high costs of recruitment and training the new employees, loss of footage of the company, and low morale leading to high rates of turnover among the existing workforce. These problems may be due to issues like job satisfaction, poor promotion opportunities, and pay.
